Hansgrohe 26" Handheld Shower Slide Bar

A great Universal Design feature - making a shower accessible for all!

The Hansgrohe Wallbar offers an excellent showering product for any shower, including a handicap shower. When you add your hand held shower, three adjustable variables allow for a unique individual shower position:

1. The bar accomodates height changes.

2. The entire slider portion swivels around the bar from left to right.

3. The mount portion allows you to change the angle of the showerhead up or down.

The slide bar is made of brass, the slider is made of metal coated acrylic and the hose mount is clear acrylic. The bar comes with a removable acrylic dual soap dish.

The ability to position the showerhead is ideal for families with very tall or very short people, as well as for people who use roll-in shower chairs or shower seats.

AM Notes:

• The Alsons Handheld Shower Mount can only be used with a conical hose nut. Before ordering, check your handheld shower to determine which of the two types of 'nut' attach the hose to the shower head. You will find that the nut is either conical (larger diameter at the shower head and smaller diameter at the hose) or straight (same diameter from top to bottom).

• This slide bar is not meant to be used as a grab bar, as is has not been designed to handle the torque (pull) of a fall. It is not safe for grab bar purposes.
