The Shower Arm Diverter Valve switches between a hand held shower and a regular showerhead connected to the main shower pipe at the same time.

Do some members of your household like to use the standard shower head while others like the hand-held shower? The Shower Arm Diverter Valve lets everyone decide which to use.

This Y shaped diverter attaches between your exisitng shower head and the pipe from the wall.Some hand held showers are designed specifically to replace the standard shower head but some could co-exist quite nicely with the shower configuration you already have.

The diverter changes the direction of the water flow simply by pushing or pulling the valve control on top. Water only flows to one shower head at a time. Your water pressure will not be affected.

Installing the Shower Arm Diverter Valve is quick and simple. Then, to allow water to flow to one side of the diverter, push down on the valve control. To use the other side of the diverter, pull the valve control up.

Installation Rating
Assembly is moderately difficult, some tools or strength
may be required.
  • Remove the existing shower head
  • Screw the diverter onto the pipe (a little pipe tape might be needed for a good seal)
  • Then screw the shower head to one end of the "Y" shaped diverter and the hand-held shower to the other end.
