General Info

Although mostly used as a UV and weather protector on refrigerant or outdoor hot water lines, this flexible PVC plastic insulation cover can be a welcome addition inside your bathroom too.

Bumping into plumbing, especially hot water pipes, under your sink can be a painful experience. Wheelchair users probably know that better than anyone! New advances in adjustable height sinks have been great for people who remain seated in the bathroom, but lead to new troubles in keeping flexible pipes insulated and covered. Protect your knees and legs from undersink plumbing using E-Flex Guard™ Insulation Covers.

The flexible black PVC plastic installs easily over foam insulation tubing using a full-length opening along with a hook and loop closure. It provides a professional looking finish, keeping your pipes insulated, your legs safe and your decor contemporary.

Choose between two tubing widths:

  • E-Flex Guard™ C series fits 5/8" and 7/8" tubing with ¾" wall insulation. Available in 1 ½', 3 ft and 6 ft lengths.

  • E-Flex Guard™ X series fits 11/8" tubing with ¾" wall insulation. Available in 1½ ft, 3 ft and 6 ft lengths.

Both styles can be cut shorter as necessary.

Installation Rating
Minor assembly, no tools or strength required.
  • The material has a full-length slit in it that lets you slide it over the insulation tubing.
  • While it is flexible and can be customized to fit most configurations, once in place it holds its shape.
  • A ¾" strip of VELCRO® Fastener tape is welded to the material and runs around the entire opening enabling you to completely enclose the plumbing. Cable ties can be used to help deter theft.
  • Please note that insulation tubing is not included.
