General Info
The Toilet Safety Frame is a convenient grab bar alternative
that gives you something sturdy to hold onto while you sit or stand.
The frame provides support on both sides of the seat. The arm height adjusts from 27" to 31". The width of the frame adjusts from 20" to 22".
The frame can support 250 lbs. Since most of the weight will be on the seat or on the floor, the Toilet Safety Frame can actually handle a much bigger person.
To Secure the Safety Frame to Your Toilet:
Remove your toilet seat & lid.
Place the Safety Frame bracket over the holes for attaching the seat.
Align the holes on the toilet seat flange with holes on the Safety Frame bracket.
Secure using the bolts from your existing toilet seat.
If the bracket that bolts to the toilet does not seem to accommodate the arms and sit flat, reverse the arms. Although the instructions do not indicate this, there is a slight difference between the right and left arm of the frame.
