Toilet Transfer Rail |
Print this page |
|
Sturdy Transfer Rail provides support in the bathroom with more maneuvering room than most toilet grab bars.

|
The Toilet Transfer Rail makes it easier to stand and transfer to and from a toilet.
The wall mounted grab bar is a dual support bar system that has offset double bars. These offset rails offer multiple positions that are comfortable to grasp and are less likely to cause wrist injury.
You can place a P.T. Rail on the left side or the right side of the toilet. Or you can place the rails on both sides. For optimum usability and safety, the top horizontal rail should always be on the outside / further away from the toilet.
To determine "Left" or "Right" orientation:
As you stand or sit, the Right Rail is for right hand use and the Left Rail is for left hand use.
Think about where you will place the rail, by the toilet or by the bed and which hand will you be using to support yourself.
Thanks to its helpful offset bars, the Toilet Transfer Rail is better than the standard handicapped accessible toilet bars seen in most public restrooms. It makes disabled living a little easier.
