Ceiling Mount Trapeze Handle

Reach up and grab onto the Ceiling Mounted Trapeze to provide support while you reposition yourself.

The e2™ Trapeze Handle simulates two rungs on a ladder. This design increases your leverage when climbing up to a seated position and gives you a lot of room for hand placement. When you don't need the trapeze, you can slide it to the side or lift up on the Strap Slider and remove it altogether.

The Ceiling Mounted Trapeze Handle doesn't use floor space, so it won't be in your way during transfers. The innovative e2™ Trapeze Handle secures to the ceiling with a grab bar type mount. The grab bar is mounted to the ceiling (preferably directly into studs) and then the Strap Slider hooks over the grab bar.

Installation Rating

Assembly is difficult, special skills may be required.

• Installation hardware is not included.
• For most secure installation, mount on a stud using 2" long screws. For installation when there's no stud available, we recommend the Wing It's fastening system. (See the "Accessories" tab for details.)

AM2600 WingIt™:

The WingIt™ is like an oversized molly bolt. With ⁵/8" sheet rock (common in commercial facilities), no blocking is needed, which means there is no need to tear open and reconstruct existing walls, saving time and money.

In residential installations, it is still preferable to have blocking if you are installing over ½" dry wall. (WingIts™ alone with ½" drywall will only hold up to 250 pounds). However, installation over ceramic tile, tub surrounds, or marble do not require blocking and can handle up to 800 pounds.
