If you need a wider doorway, the Offset Door Hinges are a cheaper alternative to replacing the whole door frame.

General Info
The Offset Door Hinges add 2" to any doorway.
While it would have been nice to have had a bigger door to begin with, there is an alternative to cutting a larger frame and installing abigger door! The Offset Hinges are cost effective and can be retro-fitted to handle most residential doors.
With the standard hinge, the door opens and still blocks a portion of the door frame. Once installed, the expandable Z shaped offset doorhinges push the door to the outer edge of the door frame. Offset Door Hinges are also known as Swing Clear Hinges. It's a simple substitution to make theentire width of the door frame available for passing through.

- The hinges use the same screws and holes as the existing hinge.
- Be sure that the door has adequate clearance to swing wider (there isn't a wall or fixture that will prevent the door from swinging freely).
