If you have a hard time reaching up to the closet rod, whether it's due to a sore shoulder, that you use a wheelchair or are very short, you will love the Pull Down Closet Rod from Rev-A-Shelf^®.

• Holds up to 25 lb of clothes.

• Has an adjustable handle to pull on (from 34" to 50").

How does it work? The downward motion needs a little strength to get the hydraulic action started. The rod comes down slowly to the set position. When you have finished, the upward motion of the rod needs to be started by you and then the hydraulic action takes over.

Can be used in a closet or a cabinet. (Two "walls" are required for the side mounts.) Make sure that you have ample clearance for the rod to come down.

• Some closets are wider on the inside than the door to the closet. The rod can be mounted only if you create two 'walls' to connect the mount so that it has clearance through the door.

• The rod will take up a minimum of 27" out from the base in the down position. This is important if it is a walk in closet with limited space. The best results are when the handle is used at an angle to the rod, not straight down, so you also need to plan space so that you have somewhere to stand.
