Advantage Suitcase® Ramps are light and portable.
|
|
The Advantage Series Suitcase® Ramps can be separated so that they are lighter and easier to handle.
The Advantage Series Suitcase® Ramp is a single fold ramp with a skid-resistant tape surface. It has reflective safety stripes on the edges to help you get a good visual lineup. There is a 6" self adjusting bottom transition plate for a smoother transition from the ramp to the ground and a 3" transition plate to smooth out the transition at the top of the ramp. (An optional 3" Top Lip Extender is also available. See the "Accessories" tab for details.)
Made of welded aircraft-grade aluminum, the Advantage Series Suitcase® Ramp has two lightweight sections that join or separate quickly for carrying and storage. Each has its own ergonomic handle.

To establish the proper ramp length:
Determine the incline that your scooter is designed to climb. For wheelchairs, the incline should be no greater than 5° or it will be too hard to push or too steep to descend properly.
Measure the rise. (This is the distance from the top step, porch, van, etc. to the ground)
Refer to the Incline Chart to find the proper ramp length.
At any incline, use the ramp with a qualified helper.
