The Pathway® Classic Ramps can withstand
harsher weather conditions and more weight than most other ramps.
The Pathway® Classic Ramp is heavy duty ramp. It is 36" wide, a necessary width for a bariatric wheelchair, and has a weight capacity of up to 850 lbs. Please pay particular attention to the Proper Ramp Incline chart when selecting a length, as it is even more difficult and more dangerous to move the higher weight up a steep incline.
The Pathway® Classic Ramp has a seamless non-skid driving surface and is ideal for scooters, walkers wheelchairs, canes, and crutches. This aluminum ramp is ideal for temporary or semi-permanent home access.
Extruded aluminum handrails (optional) are 35.75" high and give a clean and modern appearance that will coordinate with any home.
There is a 6" self adjusting bottom transition plate for a smoother transition from the ramp to the ground and a 3" transition plate to smooth out the transition at the top of the ramp.

To establish the proper ramp length:
Determine the incline that your scooter is designed to climb. For wheelchairs, the incline should be no greater than 5° or it will be too hard to push or too steep to descend properly.
Measure the rise. (This is the distance from the top step, porch, van, etc. to the ground)
Refer to the Incline Chart to find the proper ramp length.
At any incline, use the ramp with a qualified helper.
