Pathway® Lite Advantage Ramps |
Print this page |
|
Pathway® Lite Ramps provide access over a curb or a few steps.
|
|
The Pathway® Lite Ramp has a solid, seamless design.
The Pathway® Lite Ramp is often used for secure, semi-permanent installations. Since it is bulky, it is not as portable as the folding ramps. It is a less expensive alternative to a built in ramp and can easily be moved as needed.
No assembly or unfolding required.
Has a skid-resistant surface with a yellow line down the center as a visual aid.
There is a 6" self adjusting bottom transition plate for a smoother transition from the ramp to the ground and a 3" transition plate to smooth out the transition at the top of the ramp.

To establish the proper ramp length:
Determine the incline that your scooter is designed to climb. For wheelchairs, the incline should be no greater than 5° or it will be too hard to push or too steep to descend properly.
Measure the rise. (This is the distance from the top step, porch, van, etc. to the ground)
Refer to the Incline Chart to find the proper ramp length.
At any incline, use the ramp with a qualified helper.
