|
Signature Suitcase® Ramps can ease your wheel chair or scooter over curbs or steps.
|
|
The Signature Series Suitcase® Ramps are solidly constructed for
safe and easy use time after time after time.
When you use a mobility aid, you simply must have a ramp to make curbs and steps accessible. These ultra-strong, single-fold ramps are safe and strong as well as lightweight and portable.
The designers thought of all the details:
At the bottom of the ramp is a 6" extended tread that helps with the transition from the ground to the ramp which is particularly helpful on uneven terrain. There is also a 3" transition plate to smooth out the transition at the top of the ramp. See the "Accessories" tab for details.)
Welded construction provides long-term durability and safety.
The full length hinge will not pinch, does not protrude, is silent and maintenance free.
Ergonomically designed, non-breakable handles offer convenient carrying and a comfortable grip.

To establish the proper ramp length:
Determine the incline that your scooter is designed to climb. For wheelchairs, the incline should be no greater than 5° or it will be too hard to push or too steep to descend properly.
Measure the rise. (This is the distance from the top step, porch, van, etc. to the ground)
Refer to the Incline Chart to find the proper ramp length.
At any incline, use the ramp with a qualified helper.
