General Info

This portable smoke detector has a super loud alarm and flashing strobe light.

Most photoelectric smoke detectors are designed to be hard-wired into an electric system. This Gentex Portable Smoke Detector is designed with a 9 ft electrical cord that plugs into any room in the house or facility.

This Gentex Portable Smoke Detector has a 90dB temporal 3 sounder and a high intensity 177 candela strobe light that flashes 60 times per minute upon activation of the alarm. The detector will automatically return to stand by mode after the smoke has cleared.

The portable smoke detector has a visual LED monitor (condition indicator) that will pulse in normal standby mode and will remain solid in alarm mode. It also has a full function test switch.
