General Info

With the Secure Mount Hardware, your Moen Grab Bar will stay securely in place. No studs or blocking are required because a portion of the hardware is inserted so that it spreads pressure across 3½" behind the wall. The mounting piece on the outside of the wall is hidden behind the flange of the grab bar.

Secure Mount Hardware makes creating a safer or handicapped accessible bathroom so much easier. Create a disabled bathroom, disabled toilet, or handicap shower with ease.

Note: If you have two studs behind the wall to secure a grab bar, you do not need the Secure Mount Hardware.

Installation Rating
Assembly is difficult, special skills may be required.

  • Due to the need to properly secure a grab bar and other weight bearing equipment, professional installation is recommended.

  • The Secure Mount Hardware requires a 3½" clear space behind the wall (be careful that there are no wires or plumbing).
